They haven't talked much since Nobuta ended. They see each other briefly sometimes, if both bands happen to be rehearsing at the same place, or if Yamapi shows up at KAT-TUN meetings to pick Jin up to have dinner or play some golf with Yuu. It's slightly awkward and somewhat tense, especially if Jin is present, but they're never anything but polite to each other. It bothers Yamapi though, because they were close friends once. And because Yamapi genuinely likes Kame.

He has been carefully planning this. He knew Kame would be filming the drama still, and he managed to find out from Koki that Kame usually got home a little bit past one a.m., so on the night of Kame's birthday he shows up at his door at forty minutes past one and rings the bell for one whole minute before it becomes obvious that Kame is not there yet. He sits on the cold floor, setting the bag with cake and beer by his side, and waits.
