Damn, Arrow. When you implied it earlier this season, I thought you were just oblivious to how it sounded. I did not think you would actually go there.
Coolness. Hopefully it is not just a tease. The promo does not leave it much in doubt, that's for sure. I can't remember if Sara obliquely referred to Nyssa before, but I thought her "you're cute" to Felicity has a slightly flirty vibe.
Oh, I wasn't thinking of the remark to Felicity. I was thinking of the way the assassin called Sara the Beloved of "the child of Ras al'Ghul". "Child of" is what writers use when they want you to assume someone is male, but they're really female.
But like I said, at the time, I figured they probably didn't mean it.
Oh right! I remember that vaguely. At that point, I thought they were just randomly name-dropping but they must have already had the plan to have Nyssa come on the show. This show keeps impressing me with both the speed at which it is burning through plots and the ability to do juggle ALL THE PLOTS and manage callbacks and foreshadowing in a reasonably coherent fashion.
