What did you think of Libertine? I remember watching it a while ago for Johnny Depp cause I think he's such a diverse actor but I found it lacking. I fell asleep so I guess that says something!!

I never knew that's what buggery means. I've heard the term used as a swear word often enough but never knew the exact meaning of it.

I wasn't a fan of it or anything close when I first watched the film -also because it's Johnny Depp- but the dialogues were pretty entertaining the second time around. Real life Rochester was quite an interesting fellow and after reading his biography and some of his works, it was quite nice to see it acted out. I'm on the fence on whether Depp managed to bring that Rochester appeal to the fullest though... he seemed a bit more interesting on paper ^^;
