[Sims 2] Mulling

I looked over my random writings folder and realized I have some short pieces written for simfic50 prompts and simhaven challenges laying eggs in there, but I don't have the drive to decorate my Sims neighbourhood to take pictures. I just stare. And stare. And stare at the blank neighbourhood template

Aw, I know the feeling. I have a folder of pretty sim pictures I browse through when I get hit with a decorating block D:. Perhaps that would help? Here's mine if you'd like to have a look (it's mostly preview pictures using pretty sims and houses and such).
Downloadable sims or lots that are...ahem, not to my taste, usually speak to my make-over drive as well. Could be an idea too XD. I hope you'll get over the deco-block soon!

Thanks! That is one pretty haul you've got there. I'm especially loving the city streets pictures! That may be just the thing to start me on starting up my game. :D Talking about that, I've been looking at Criquette's diary as well, it is crazy wonderful. Now to try get one-tenth of that XD

I'm in the same boat at the moment, several things written and waiting for me to just get on with it, but I'm just not inspired to go in my game and deal with a set. Eventually I get over it when I stumble upon some new wonderful bit of cc that will be perfect for that story. I hope you start feeling like having a play and sharing some of those stories soon!

I've been surfing around myself, hoping to come across bits of the perfect cc (and to avoid having to recolor any myself XD) to jumpstart the building process. I'm firing up my game in a moment to see what I have in the depths of the endless content catalogs XD
