So yesterday I'm looking out the window and see some movement in one of the birdcages I rescued from the back lane several weeks ago. Thinking it was a squirrel I went for a closer look. No squirrel, a turtle! Someone must have put her in there as there was no way she could get her shell through any of the doors and the only other way in is

Wonderful, and when are you coming back to the city?

We changed her water, added another rock and enough water to cover her. She started swimming around and eating happily! I even took in a few garden slugs to feed her.

I get back on Tuesday, give me a call when you're done work and I'll give you a ride home and pick up the turtle.

Do you have somewhere to keep little Myrtle? The thing I have her in is a little small for her and she wants to get out and run around!!
