Tutorial: Bright Blue Coloring + Polaroid Brushes

In Photoshop CS.



01.

Cropped base from hires_hunks.

02.

Duplicate base, set to Soft Light 100%.

03.

Texture by Tre, Color Burn 100%. Erase the parts off his hair and skin.

04.

On a new layer, stamp visible (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+E). Filters >> Sharpen >> Unsharp mask >> 60%.

05.

Duplicate top layer, set to soft light.

06.

On a new layer, stamp visible (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+E). You'll use this in step #08.

07.

Create a new layer, fill with white. Stamp this brush (by ewanism) in the center (color: #CECECE).

08.

Drag your stamped visible layer from step #06 up to the top. Resize it so it fits in the grey square in the center.

09.

New layer filled with white. Draw a 1px border (color: #CECECE) around the edge of the brush and use a soft round eraser brush to erase away the middle of each line, leaving you with this.

10.

FINISHED.
