Sooo...I guess not much to talk about. I might not be getting a new car before the new year like I was hoping. Oh well. Not really much else to do but continue to save up for a car and to move out. I should be at about $2100-2200 by the end of the year (that's including Christmas money I'm expecting). I'm still wondering if I'm going to be keeping ( Read more... )

well, i have almost got my cats vet bill payed off. i currently have 500 something in checking. im hoping with this next paycheck to finally open a savings account. i haven't gotten around to registering for winter term, but then the classes are offered to early for me to get up and get there.

we don't exactly need thousans of dollars saved up to move out. just have the equivalent of 2 months rent and utilities each in our accounts. even though we would split it. we might still be able to make it out in august. once summer hits we can find out just where we are at money-wise. i wouldn't be worrying about it right now. i can wait a few more months if i have to just as long as i will be moving out soonish.

yay for video games!!!!

I think $1000 is enough for about two months of rent. I mean, once you think about it, each person's rent will be somewhere in between $200-250. Then there's car insurance, and any other bills (like internet, cable, etc.). Then if were going to survive at all, there's another $50-100 on food. That's almost/near $500/month.

it's doable. i've been making close around 300 each paycheck. and that's every two weeks. if veronica goes with us we should have enough.

Oh, and P.S. I need about $4000-5000 before moving out for furniture, since I can't take any of the furniture from my room out. My mom wants to keep it there and use it as a guest room. And then there's living room, kitchen, and [my] bedroom furniture. Then a television - a nice big new one. Kitchen accessories like toasters, mixers, silverware, etc. Then there's bathroom accessories: towels, shower curtains, bathrugs, etc.

But yeah, of course you guys won't need that much.
