the temperatures only went up to the mid-40s today, so i started my day with a stumptown breakfast once again. maybe it was the cold or the fact that i was there by 9:30am, but there were a few empty tables for me to choose from. i had an artisinal pop tart, which was very tasty, and planned my shopping ( Read more... )

I'm sure they have an idea when they're going to air Sherlock, especially given that PBS has announced a date in Feb. 2014. I believe in the big Q&A they did with PBS that they said they've made a deal to air them at the same time, its just that BBC won't announce a date until they have the shows in hand.

ah, interesting. february it is, then! i guess they learned their lesson about delaying sherlock episodes in the u.s. (iirc they showed them much later at first, like with downton abbey).

I'm sure you've obviously heard they're going to start s3 of Sherlock on 1/1/14. Which is not what they said during the q&a but ok.

Now, if you want an alternative and still be able to watch it without waiting til they put it on PBS.... If you have hola unblocker as an extension to your browser (i use chrome) then you can use the bbc.co.uk iplayer to watch it. You'll still have to wait but only til the next day probably.

thank you! i will probably have a friend over. i cut down all the recipes to at least half or a fourth. i want to have some leftovers but not drown in food.

ooh, what does that involve? i just made braised brussels sprouts last night (with dijon and white wine).
