I don't know what's up with me. At some point I thought perhaps I'd lost the will to improve onn drawing, considering how I haven't doodled properly or drawn every now and then. Perhaps it's the stress over coursework and exams. Still. It's awfully depressing looking at how empty my folders and sketchbooks are ( Read more... )

I know how you feel. I some times stop drawing for days or even weeks and it just doesn't feel right to draw anymore.

*hugs* It'll get better soon. Try doing something else. Watch a movie, play a game/video game, read, listen to music. I always end up drawing in the middle of doing ten different things. Next thing I know, I'm playing a video game, chatting on the internet, listening to music, watching tv, and drawing. My mind just doesn't work right when working on just one task.

Argh, yeah. I've been having these moments quite a number of times. My longest one lasted for 2 months. (I can tell when I look through my folders 8D convenience!)

*huggle* ;o; let us hope so!
Yeah, that's actually the best way to get inspired. Do other activities and let inspiration hit you.

There is never enough time to do the things we love unless we carve out a special time just for that. I know. I have the same problem with writing. Take a break and then set a specific date and time to do nothing but doodle. If you are like me, your doodles will turn into drawings in no time. In writing terms, I write random words that pop into my head until I get full sentences that eventually turn into stories.

Good luck to you.

Oh, and if you're wondering where I came from, you had commented on my writer's block posting.
