Even though I say sketches, the amount of time and effort I put into them would suggest otherwise :'D ... that's annoying. WHY CAN I NOT WORK QUICK, NICE AND STOP PROCRASTINATING

What's the girl into? Does she have a hobby? Is she a girlie-girl who is into clothes and jewelry?

If she's a complete and total girlie-girl, then you can't go wrong with some cute costume jewelry and nice smelling bath soaps. Doesn't have to be anything expensive. You could put together a basket with various cute things that would appeal to her.

If she has a hobby, [video] gaming, DVDs, music, etc. You might want to go with a gift card. Gift cards are great because the person can choose what they want and you still put in the effort for a thoughtful gift. Personally, I love gift cards.

If you think a gift card seems cheap, you could do a hybrid of both ideas. Get a gift card and something nice [small, like cute socks or a little bobble, even some good chocolate] and pair it together.
