Dammit, Wacom, Stop Being Amazing

Apparently Wacom developed a lovely little device that enables you to capture all of your traditional sketches digitally. All you need to do is insert a sheet of paper into the receiver and draw with the pressure-sensitive pen. It also allows you to make multiple layers as well.

And now that being coherent is out of the way...

money, wacom, fangirling, art

*is mezmerised* I want one. Right now.

I have a tablet, and I love it, but I do a lot more stuff with my trusty pencil and paper. Anytime I open Photoshop though, you best believe I've got my tablet out and ready! :D

I know, isn't it beautiful?

I have a tablet too, and it pretty much has its home on my desk. But sometimes it's just so much easier and feels more natural to work with a pencil and paper. I think I want that pretty little doohickey because I can still draw traditionally, but easily transfer my work to the computer without a scanner. So basically I'm lazy. :P

Yeah, that's exactly like I am. My scanner and I have a love hate relationship, as in, I love to scan things and hate using it because it's old and janky.

Oh, and I wanted to ask if you used Illustrator, since it looks like you used the pen tool for your pic of Thomas.

Pfft, I don't have a personal scanner. If I'm on campus I have to go to one of the computer labs, and if I'm at home I have to use the one in the living room. Either way, it means that I have to question just how ballsy I am to scan man porn in the presence of others. XD ( ... )
