She only had to ask him once about wanting to stay with him and immediately he said yes. Just like that. He accepted her without questions even if he definitely has the right to ask her anything. If he had asked then she would have told him everything he wanted to know, of course, but he didn't.
He was so lovely, and she wanted to give him something just as lovely for a thank you present. Now trying to hold back from grinning too much, she gingerly knocked on his door, holding a big wrapped box in her arms. "T-- Anthony? It's Cass. I have something for you."
Having a roommate again feels good, Anthony can't deny it. Sure, he never even thought he would be rooming with a girl, but there was a first time for everything. And she did seem relatively normal, with normal being a bit overrated in the City.
And she's not a vampire, so none of his friends can say anything about that.
He looks up from the blueprints, which he's been redoing ever since the mini!him destroyed them with crayons, and smiles his usual half-smile.
"Cass, hi," he pushes away from the desk and looks at the box she's holding, surprised. "Uhm... You really didn't have to..."
At the acknowledgment, Cassie could no longer hold back the grin, now smiling from ear to ear. "Oh. I know. That's why it's a gift." She tottered over, shoving the box towards him.
Still filled with excitement, she dropped herself on the floor just beside his chair. Anthony was always working, working, working. Not that she minded. But she wondered if he was slightly upset that she had disturbed him. She simply could not wait for him to see it was all, she hoped he would be happy enough with the Glo Gnomes that he would forgive her intrusion. She laughed, clapping her hands with delight. "Open it! Open it!"
He smiled at her enthusiasm. He had no idea what he did to deserve the gift or why she was so excited to see his reaction to the gift... But he accepted long time ago that there were some things about girls that he would never understand, and he basically stopped trying. It was more healthy that way.
He quickly got rid of the wrapping paper and opened the box. Inside, there were three figurines of... Dwarfs? Garden gnomes? Well it stopped being important what they were the moment he noticed a faint glow about them.
His smile widened a bit. "Do those glow in the dark?" he asked her, but before she could answer he reached to the lamp on his desk and turned it off. The gnomes, he decided they had to be gnomes, started to glow even more.
"Awesome," he said, "thank you, Cass. I love it." And it wasn't even the polite response he would give her no matter what. This gift was actually really cool.

You and I are having lunch, my treat. I'll treat, you'll talk.
[ooc: Strikes are not there, since he technically can't rat out Thomas. ;D]

There's no need for lunch, really. No matter what certain people told you, it can wait. Really.
[ooc: trying to get out of this, as Thomas predicted. awkward anthony is awkward. no there was no sleep deprivation or irregular meals...]
