OMG! <-this is probably as coherent as I'm gonna get!
Seriously, this story... so incredibly painful and beautiful and just perfect! Your description of Neal's pain is so amazing, I could almost feel it myself while reading it, the longing for Peter, the guilt... And that beautiful ending, geez, it just undid me that even though they get rough at times, the need overwhelming them, there's always that safe haven for Neal in Peter's gentle, loving arms ♥
I'm so glad to hear that Neal's pain was palpable. Sometimes it's difficult to see that from the inside. Very much appreciate this feedback! I love incoherency! :-)
OMFG - you wrote me the sequel to Quiver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s like my birthday and every night of Chanukah rolled into a great big ball of awesomeness.
Favorite lines:
He slept restlessly, dreaming about drowning, about Peter’s face above the waterline, receding. He had dreams the color of tears.
Now I want Neal/Peter mermaid fic - or I want to steal this for a sequel to Selkie.
She found ‘soul bonding’, and suddenly, the beautiful, wretched, perfect thing lying next to her that missed her husband like he might miss his own skin…made sense. Well, this new pain did. The wings never made sense. The wings were a gift they’d never understand. The wings were terrible and incomprehensible and precious.
This is the most perfect expression of what Wing!Fic should be.
And this is why Elizabeth Burke is made of awesome:
El wanted to hold him so much. And yet she knew, in a way that made her feel all sorts of crazy - happy, jealous, hurt, fiercely protective of both of them, turned on - that when Peter walked in that door
( ... )
This was so hot but the emotions are amazing too! Neal and el's talk is just stellar for so many reasons and Peter' desire was great too. Lovely lovely lovely piece.
This sounds freaking ridiculous but I really have nothing to say. The greatness of this fic and the wonder of it, says it all. There is perfection, and love and pain and sorrow. You've accomplished it, you've undone me.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!
I was so very nervous, and it was so hard not to go to my beta-for-life for feedback on *her* story, GOD! LOL!
I'm absolutely thrilled by your response -- by how much love you have for both stories. THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart.
