When I was living in Florida I made some incredible friends who helped me start to change how I look at myself. There were two families in particular, one of which has two girls in school. The oldest daughter is in the French Club and wants to go on a trip to France with said club... there are difficulties.

In order to provide one level of distance, the fundraising for the band, football, etc at my highschool in the mid 80s was done by 'associations', like the band boosters, football club, etc.

SO, time to create the XYZ High School Academic Association, supporting foreign language trips.... :)
