So it's been super long since I've posted here and I've found that I miss this place. From all the TV talk to the music and silliness of everyday life, I just miss the connection. So I thought I'd post some things that have happened just to get things going again ( Read more... )

I had a look at your flood pictures, wow! That must have been devastating! I'm glad that you seem to have landed on your feet.

Very jealous that you saw the Frames, and QotSA twice! I have an unhealthy level of lust for Josh Homme. Make It Wit Chu turns my knees to butter. And that line in I'm Designer, where he says "I go home and jerk off" just... GAH!

I am right there with you about Homme. I didn't used to find redheads attractive but now I seem to look at them more. Both times I saw them I was pretty close to the front and both times I forgot my camera. Go figure.

This year so far I have Foo Fighters (GROHL!) and NIN in my line up. Can't wait for both those!

Wow! Welcome back. :-) It must have been awful to lose most of your things like that, but yay for getting out of debt and still being able to replace most of them.

Hmm, what have I been doing...mostly writing (I have one completed book I'm shopping to agents, and another half done that I post about a lot) and jewelry making (I've started an online store, and post about jewelry, if possible, even more than I do writing). My latest fandom obsession is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and S1 of Dexter was awesome, wasn't it? We are waiting for S2 to come out on DVD. :)

So good to see you around these parts again!

How exciting about having something finished to shop around. I definitely will tune in to see how that comes about for you! And the same with the jewelry, I remember seeing some of your first posts about the pieces you'd made.

I need to watch Terminator as well. It's just so difficult to watch since I'm still at my parents but I can't wait for that to change.

Heeeeeey, good to see you! I was WONDERING what happened to you. You are also the third missing person to come out of the woodwork in as many days. It's starting to freak me out, in a good way!

I'm sorry about the flood, that must have been traumatic. But no debt = win! Also I really do hope you start writing again.

Thanks! We made it through the flood nice and rosy so although it was really tough some really good things came out of it as well. I'm going to spend the next few days trying to catch up with the flist and it's going to be a chore!

I definitely visit Facebook more frequently. I think it has to do with the games. Thanks for the hugs. It was rough there for a few weeks!

It's been SOOOOO long. It's good to see you again.

I didn't think I could come up with ideas again either but after things settled it started to create itself. I encourage everyone to do the same if having the same problem (like, uh... no ideas AT ALL) as me.

I've had a few people still reply to my fics through http://www.fanfiction.net/u/259212/CognacGirl-CG hopefully it still works.

I've been jotting little things down, talking to myself in the mirror trying to work things out. I think I have to go back to fic for a little while just t get back in the hang of things.

I need to try the talking to myself in the mirror thing. That might help. I really just need to write - even if it's bad it's something.
