most all of you have good taste in music so.....recommend some new music, or old music for that matter that i may like. my musical tastes are all over the board.
Röyksopp - Icelandic electro-relaxation. A little bizarre sometimes, definitely good background music.
The Killers - Total angry/angsty 16-year-old boy music and I love it, great for rocking out. All These Things is surprising and transcendent with its gospel choir and all.
The Tom Tom Club, Live At The Clubhouse - Excellent, high energy group formed by two members of The Talking Heads, good for cleaning the house, doing the dishes, or cooking dinner. C'mon, how can you not love a group with songs like "Wordy Rappinghood"?? Not to mention "Genius of Love", an awesome song that's been covered and sampled by every pop artist on the planet.
Something I may have recommended a few years ago . . .twrJune 8 2006, 03:57:30 UTC
But I don't remember if I did or not.
Ed Harcourt. Specificially the album "Here Be Monsters."
I saw him at Club Café a few years ago after hearing him on 'YEP and he was awesome. He's got a few more albums now, but I haven't really listened to them. But give him a listen sometime.
Listening to the new Tool Album and it's Fucking amazing. For an odd and somewhat creepy mood a band called Miasma and the Carousel of the Headless Horse's album Perils is really interesting kind of Horror gypsy music. And if your in a really Metal mood the most recent Iron Maiden studio album, Dance of Death. Ok so I like my music a little harder. Sue me. LOL
PINK MARTINI (nifty lounge-esque) Clutch (rock) Utada Hikaru (j-pop) Ayumi Hamasaki (j-pop) Dir en Grey (j-rock) Calle 13 (reggeton) Ojera de Van Gough (Mex.)
yep yep thats what ive been listening to anyway TAKE CARE MR RANDY
