hey-- my sister did a similar program at UCLA. she's an autistic therapist working in san francisco right now (that's out of undergrad). she does case management after about a year, and doing a master's in speech pathology at SF state soon. that would be a possible grad program to look into, very applicable to understanding autism.. unless you want something more computational, then look into neuroscience.. i would definitely suggest acquiring some experience in the field before applying to a grad program.

Hi! Thanks for replying. I'm currently a behaviorist/discrete trial therapist for an Orange county school district. I've been emplyed in under this titel for two, now going on my third year so I'm definitely working on the experience. I do in clinic therapy and therapy in the children's homes.

There's a huge amount of autism research going on at UCLA. Do a search for research assistant positions at UCLA and you'll find something that can give you some experience before you're off applying to grad school.
