Yay! What a lucky boy, not many rescuers (much less people) would give a 3-legged heartworm positive homeless dog a chance.

Isn't that just the best!? Being so nervous about the new dog, about how the old dog will react, planning for the fights or the pouting and then - they go bonkers for each other and pretty soon you're picking up downed chairs and trampled rugs pleading with them for a few minutes' time out from playing.

Now for the hard question, foster or permanent with Jahzira's reaction? We already know you're in love with him. :)

Jahzara. Sorry, should proof-read those sometime!

I tell ya, with his temperment, he was worth trying to save. You have to see him to believe him. So gentle, loving and just wants to be near you, no matter what you are doing. LOVES to rough house but will calm right down and sit pretty when asked.

So far, they just do a lot of wiggling and licking each other's faces, but I'm sure they'll pick up speed soon. *help!* lol

As much as I adore them, they are both fosters. If, and only if, the right family/person wants them will they go. Which means, that they have to fall in LOVE with that person and want to leave with them. Jedi (I changed his name a bit) takes to just about anyone that gets within sight, but Jahzy is much more reserved. Of course, they can only leave here under the condition that I get weekly updates and pictures. ;)

Aww, what a sweet dog! It is too bad about his leg, but animals can cope amazingly well. I bet he hops around almost as fast as he did before!

And Jahzara will be a lovely companion, I'm sure. Are you going to keep him?

Good luck and bless people like you who save the animals.

Not only does he hop along just fine, he outruns me! It's actually easier for him to run than to walk slow. Seems weird, but once I watched him go, it made sense.

Both of them are fosters, until they get adopted, but if they never do get adopted, that's ok too. ;)

Thank you!!
