OK OK..I suck. :) ....
Life has been insane around here lately and my poor journal has been sorely neglected. I have, however, been following along in everyone else's. Since I am working from home today I will take a minute before I get down to business to update everyone on my comings and goings.
Bryelle-Is getting unbelievably big! ( I will post pictures at the end) She is in the Abbot program 5 days a week and loves playing with all of the other kids. (Plus she gets to ride a school bus to and from..that is her favorite part!!) Right now she is learning to count actual things (she can count objects up to ten so far) and her new favorite word is disgusting. She cracks me up when she tells daddy she can't eat her dinner because it (no matter what it happens to be) is disgusting. Too cute!! She is still doing awesome with her little brother and despite an increase in whining since starting school, everything is good.
Kaden-This boy is growing like a weed!! He is my little pudge. I swear the boy is going to be bigger than Bryelle before he is 6 months old. At his last doctors appointment ( I think it was a month ago) he was 14 pounds. His next appointment should be coming up soon (which reminds me..I need to call and see when it is!) I will make sure I update everyone on the his stats once he goes. He is currently teething.. (fun fun) and has mastered the art of the raspberry. He can hold his head up like a champ and is working on the whole rolling over thing. Right now my sister is babysitting him while she is on summer vacation, but he starts daycare in a little over a week. He will be at the same place that Bryelle and his cousins go to. I am not looking forward to him starting (one because it is expensive and second because I like having family watch him...) I guess we'll see how it goes.
The house-We are in the process of painting. I could not take the off-white walls ANYMORE so our weekends currently consist of painting at least one room in an attempt to get it done some time this decade. This has been slightly hindered since my step-son's appendix ruptured last weekend and he has been in the hospital. He is doing better now and is supposed to be released today. (Thus me working from home) Hopefully now things will calm down with him home and we can get back to finishing up the painting. (Matt stayed at the hospital with him for quite a few days leaving me with both the kids...needless to say, we did not get very much painting done without him here.) Other than that things are coming along. We are still adjusting to the higher mortgage payments and need to sit down and come up with a stricter budget. I can't even begin to get into my money worries right now or I may never get to work...Let's just say that I know some of you know how I feel.
Work-I am crazy busy with work right now. Hopefully working at home today I can get caught up! I figure if I work the 2.5-3 hours I usually spend commuting, I can catch myself up. At least, that's the plan. We'll see, I guess.
I am sure that I am leaving tons of stuff out, but life has been non-stop lately. I will post this and then do a picture post. I know that's what you all want anyway! :)
