So last night was rather surreal. I finished my run which my knee handled really well and went outside for my last smoke of the night. As I finished lighting it in the cool night breeze, about 93 degrees, I looked up and could see about a million stars including the milky way right in the center of the sky. It was quite amazing. Alright here's the deal. Chris Miekowski showed up two days ago and said that TPD and Beach Detachment didn't know where the heck you were. If you checked in to TPD and had them stamp your orders then somewhere along the line there was a miscommunication. I wouldn't worry about it either way to tell you the truth. You're a brand new ensign, fucking up is what you're supposed to do. You need to go to TPD (other wise known as TPU) and talk to MM1, female, about arranging a flight out. Explain the misunderstanding. Then ask where Beach Det is and go talk to Master Chief Hickey, female,. Other than that you just need to work on getting out here, it sucks not havign you around, and I'm getting really far ahead of you in quals so you need to catch up.
