Day 2 in Rome went smoothly as well. Got up about 8:30 for hostel breakfast (rolls and jam), then made my way to the Vatican (Rome subways suck). Writing to you from an internet cafe in Rome. I took a 14-hour overnight train to get here. I started off the evening with 3 Austrians in my compartment with me. Just as I said, I went to Steyr for the rather extended weekend. Went on Thursday, and home the next Tuesday. Kristy joined us for a couple of nights there as well. Have had lot of time off of school lately. Last Thursday was the National Holiday, kind of like an Independence Day.
