For the first time in a long (read: Very long) time, today I decided to put on my running shoes and head for a short jog after work. I'd left work about 830, which was relatively early, and arrived home about an hour later. I started running regularly from around the age of 17-18 (that would have been 1992 - 93). That does not mean that I have always been running since. There were the odd injuries that put me off running on the road for years here and there, but I have gladly been able to get back on to it every time. I did around 50 minutes this evening, which translates to maybe 9 or 8 clicks. And I appreciate all of it. Well, just be glad that you had this magical moment of sorts, and hope you carve the time and good health to do it regularly then.

thats the nice thing about running. and about having time to yourself. and about appreciating the little things in life.
i have not ran since my surgery in dec and i cannot wait to get back to running again.
