After Jaina's handwaved treatment, Jag carries her upstairs to their room.

He is not letting her walk on her own right this minute. Whether that's because he's concerned she'll redamage the leg or because he wants to make sure she doesn't try to leave and find Aeryn or because he just wants to reasure himself that she is still alive and still here

Jaina frowns from her seat on the bed, glaring at the Earth bandage wrapped tightly around the splint and her leg.

Kriffing pulse pistol. She should've deflected the shot, but she didn't expect Tergan to actually hit her. Or that she'd wind up with blasted stitches and a hairline fracture.

She takes a deep breath, shaking her head and looking up at her husband desperately. "I shouldn't be here, Jag."

"No, you should be in the Infirmary where they can keep an eye on your leg while it heals."

The shock and worry is starting to fade away, leaving a jaw-clenching I told you so anger. Why did she have to go on that mission, anyway?

The desperate look turns in to an icy glare within a matter of seconds. All she had wanted to do was help out a friend. Not get thrown back in to Milliways where she couldn't do anything.

"That's not where I meant."

"You're not going back there."

This is not open to argument. It is a fact.
