What have you most regretted losing?Given how many people whom I have loved have died, the suffering that Bajor has endured, the war that has decimated the Alpha Quadrant, I have tried not to answer this question selfishly. I didn't want to blurt out "Odo" or "Bareil" or "Opaka" or "Jadzia" or "Damar" or "Sisko," though those were all great losses

It's amazing how "simple" truths can be so devastating. I'm sorry for the loss of faith and love you once had in your mother. Though I can't directly relate to your situation, I know what its like to learn that all you believed in was a lie. Such great turning points in ones life can make or break a person. Though I'm sure it hasn't been easy for you to come to terms with this I think in the end the truth made you stronger.
