Sorry I've been MIA guys. I still read your stuff, I just havent really felt like commenting, or posting for that matter. Nothing's wrong, I just havent really been interested in online things like I usually am. It'll pass though lol, it always does. So I guess I'll update on some of what's been going on lately.

When we had our legal marriage, we went to DC to apply for the license, and I think there normally would have been either a 3 day wait or a 10 day wait (I can't remember now) but we ended up having to wait several months before we could go back to get the license because gay marriage had just become legal there so they were backed up with all the gays gettin' hitched! I'm not sure how it'll work in Connecticut but you could probably call and find out (or look online). That sounds like a lovely idea! I love B&Bs! Our wedding was at a B&B.

We actually looked into DC first because its closer to us. But I read online about the waiting period (Idr what it was exactly- 5? 7? 10? Lol), that's what made me start looking into other states where its legal. I asked in the email I sent to the inn we chose, but she wont answer til sometime next week.

Well you can always just go up there to apply and drive right back and just go back for the license whenever you want. We drove there and back in one day (6 hours each way ughhhh) to apply.

This is true. It would require coordinating a few days in a row off together though. Something of a feat with her old job. Still waiting on a new job to compare it to lol.
