This huge outcry about Casey Anthony not being found guilty is really rubbing me the wrong way. I've heard so many people whining and complaining about how flawed our judicial system is, but what happened to innocent until proven guilty? Honestly, I was shocked at the verdict, but I understood it. I think part of the problem comes from the fact that in our judicial system, once you're found innocent, you can't be tried for the same crime-- even if evidence comes out that shows who the perpetrator is without a doubt.

We may never know the truth about what happened- and I don't think she should have been kept in jail or killed while we had to wait for evidence to come about. But, I do think that we need to take a serious look at why so many people were shocked/outraged about the sentence. Was it the sentence itself or the fact that if she is later found to be guilty, we can't do anything?

Frankly, I think the jury made the right decision in the end; and I can only hope that whoever is responsible for the crime does end up paying in some way. Karma's a bitch.

I agree. I think they should be able to be retried if new evidence is found. And karma is definitely a bitch! She will punish the guilty party in her own time and her own way
