Have you ever seen a picture of the inside of your eye? I did today. It was sooooo cool, the lense was green, the veins lovely red, the nerve was yellow. It was like a funky 60's abstract painting - only it was my eye.
Oh, man. I hate eyes. Hate. Eyes. I would faint. Seriously. Ugh, ugh. I just pray that nothing ever goes wrong with my eyes requiring surgery. Or people touching my eye. I'd faint. I'm getting weak just thinking about it...
Cool! Despite being at a higher than average risk for glaucoma and cataracts (thank you, Gram and Gramps), I haven't had the pic of my retina taken yet. I imagine it will be coming soon. Did the flash for the pic burn? I know one of my colleagues is diabetic and goes through tortuous eye tests - and then complains for weeks afterwards, and at any mention of anyone going to the doctor.
