Job applications are my own personal circle of hell. Forget burning coals, torture, nothing can be worse than spending eternity writing and re-writing cover letters. Of course this is how I have just spent my weekend and will spend the next week.

I feel your pain. Having just applied to the 10 biggest law firms in Calgary and trying to write "customized" cover letters for each one when really they are all the same and customizing means changing the name and trying to make a reference to something from the firm's recruiting materials without sounding too lame. And trying to have my cover letters be different but not too different, ack. But of course I will read and help.
