And intense. So, so intense. You can practically feel the tension between Kai and Takanori, how the latter's pent-up feelings were pushed and pushed, only to snap and be released. Everything, from the moment Takanori's hand began to waver to the sex scene with Reita, was brimming with tension. This chapter knocked the air from my lungs and left me gasping.
Kai passively watched Takanori’s eyes cloud over, his hand gyrating against invisible strings; his penmanship slowly dissolved into a darker, messier scrawl - black, jagged strokes. I absolutely love how you signaled the transition from Takanori to Ruki--by showing a change in his writing. Handwriting is different for every person but it's usually a aspect that writers overlook. You, however, didn't, which is delightful. Aspects like these are especially important for characters like Takanori, who is known for his abilities as a vocalist/songwriter.

So much for the happiness that I thought he and Reita had. I feel bad for all them, even Aoi. Falling in love with one body but two entities... that's harsh, especially when those personalities clash so much.
I'm left feeling so confused on behalf of Reita and Aoi. I feel like the lines between Ruki and Takanori are blurred to the point that I'm not even sure who the real one is.
I don't even know where to begin. You pretty much smashed my expectations of where this fic was heading and left me reeling. Consider me thoroughly confused in the very best sense of the word. I think I'm going to have to re-read it in order to have it sink in properly.
