i think more or less people are teriffied of commitment. Its easier to say it wotn work, than give it a chance. we destroy things, so we can say "see i told you it wouldnt work" rather than expose our hearts and make a real effort and put yourself "out there". Its much easier to self destruct than be mutilated.
