It doesn't feel like it, but I've casually been playing guitar for quite a while now. I still can't sing and play at the same time (it screws my rhythm up in a bad way), and I'm still shy about playing around other musicians... but I am slowly becoming more confident. Slowly.
I finally had time to record a song that I've been working on, in my head, for a little while. Unfortunately, it sounded nothing like I imagined. Luckily, I was able to transform what I recorded into something new. Something unlike anything I've recorded before.
It's not finished, but (for the first time) I'm going to share a work in progress instead of just writing about it. It's not very complex, but it's catchy, even in it's incomplete form -- and that's something that most of my songs lack.
