are you sure you don't require an FBI check? with all the crime shows i wouldn't doubt it if you secretly have background checks done. it's ok if you do though, because that would be awsome, creepy but cool...

It's because I post private things here and I don't want just any creep with an internet connection to be able to read them. It's called privacy.

Also, your use of per se here was completely incorrect (not to mention misspelled). Per se is Latin for "by itself/themselves" and thus does not work in this context.
