I am low on words, but I quite liked this! I don't often see this sort of perspective on why Clint decided not to kill Natasha, and it totally makes sense as something that would catch his attention. I also love the acknowledgement of SHIELD's moral shadiness -- there are some evils that are small enough for them to overlook, because they only have so much manpower & time & money.

Also, because I was initially scouting around for the kudos button (/facepalms), would you like an invite to AO3? I have extra!
