I'm not normally one for family gatherings in the best of circumstances and moods, but today was not only my Nana's (whom I live with) birthday, but also my other grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary

My family came from Russia and Poland around the same time, turn of the century. It's awkward for me to be with both sides of the family. ~_~ I don't like being around them, either. But if nothing else, they are family-- right?

You're right though, the timeline doesn't really add up. Is she sure they're not from Russia? The timeline would add up if so...
