Sick

So around 6pm my mouth started going numb, spreading up my head to my scalp, down to my throat, arm and leg but all only on the right side of my body. Felt kind of like an extreme all body novocaine shot. Sat in the ER from 7:30pm-3:30am to find out

it's interesting that this same sort of thing has happened to other people before, I haven't heard of it. My first guess had been a pinched nerve from working on your room and stuff, but the way you describe it as "creeping up on you" that doesn't make sense now.

yeah, this morning the only still numb part was the tip of my tongue... appears I have some sort of blister/burn/bite there that my father feels could have caused the whole thing... sigh who knows

Yeah of anyone who could relate to strange unknown illness I think it'd be you ;). Thanks for the well wishes, I am feeling better the numbness is pretty much gone now and I just have like a lingering pressure headache.

hey hey-- Good to hear that you seem to be doing slightly better. Hope everything's okay. Though I have to wonder if numbness on one side of the body is really a sign of pregnancy, heh. But here's hoping it was just a bizarre fluke thing and you'll be well soon.

It made me laugh when they told me I needed to take a pregnancy test, it made me feel like I was at health services lol! Yeah the doctor was pretty sure it was a fluke, which is fine by me cause it was a weird experience
