In July:
And back home:

Anytime you're asked What's your favourite movie? do you already have an answer? I usually come up blank before letting slip the last movie I remember catching. The other night while trying to fall asleep, an answer came to me and I wanted to note it down somewhere before I forget again.
I worked through a collection of Johnny Cash songs when I got home from watching 'Walk the Line". Researched on June Carter Cash, on him, on their duets, cos I knew nothing beyond what I'd seen in the movie. The strength of his love for her and vice versa...it was more than what the movie had time to explain. Even just from reading up on his struggles with drinking and pills, and how she didn't want him like that, it subtly changed how I saw their music. "What a great love story", I thought. Perhaps his feelings for her were so powerful and raw that he grew desperate without realizing what had hit him.
Though I'll say it's my favourite movie, ironically now I don't remember how much of the movie went. My memory's all fuzzy... So I gotta re-watch when I can. And just now while typing, I realized "A Beautiful Mind" and "Moulin Rouge" were movies I really enjoyed too. You see a pattern forming? Anyway, this is great cos for once, I can fill in something true for those quizzes.
So that's what I thought about a few nights ago before falling asleep. And look, wrote a whole entry on it. Well, see you next. Good night!
