Some days, I swear I want at least one hillbilly bridesmaid with a shotgun and cement blocks in the back of her pickup truck to ensure I never make it all the way down the aisle. I'm horrified by hearing the lives women sacrifice for their husbands.

Tay and I have actually managed not only to not diminish each other, but actually further each other's goals and desires. The only thing I've given up that's been at all problematic is some time, but that happens with any relationship, and the problems have mainly stemmed from my workaholicism than from the actual relationship.

With the right person, it's possible to be greater than the sum of your parts; problem is, it can be a tough thing to find the right one(s).
