Lupa, I love you. I listed some stuff of Half.com (an Ebay site) and two hours later, someone's already purchased one of my old textbooks. If wasn't you who recommended I try to sell on Half.com, then you're still awesome.

I've done three loads of laundry, utlized the ktichen for actual cooking, and made about half a dozen phone calls in order to gt a rebate on my car.  I found out that one of my friends is probably getting promoted at work, so I'm tentatively thrilled for her.  

My two ton baby is a charcoal grey 2007 Ford Focus. When I signed the paperwork, I told the guy that I'd mourn the loss of my freedom later. Seriously, my pin number used to spell "Ouch" because I was frugal once upon a time. Now I'm accumulating credit cards and debt. I may not be online at all for a few weeks. The library has announced that they are finally moving back to their newly-constructed location. They said the same thing in July, then I found out after waiting a week that they never closed at all. Good wishes for all who choose to celebrate the "holiday".

My car died last week. After getting it out of the shop once again, it started to act up and would have left me completely stranded if my boss hadn't been checking her voicemail before leaving the parking lot. I'm so flippin' happy. I have my car back. It's broken down on me three or four times this month and it's been in the shop twice in two weeks. My mechanic told me last week that he "fixed everything that was wrong with it". Then it broke down twice more. I think I'm going to start cheating on my mechanic.
