(no subject)
I finally got facebook (really old news). I never bothered to sign up for it when it was available to university students and companies. Add me if you already haven't. Or you're really bored. There's a couple of Darren Wongs, but I'm sure you'll know which one is me.
I've made myself useful at work now. Not to sound arrogant, but I'm pretty proud of myself for picking everything up within 3 shifts. I've been kept the right amount of occupied, so I don't get bored because there's always something to do and I have a friend to keep me company. The bosses are really nice as well.
I've been spending the last few shifts cleaning up the (financial) mess left by the previous book-keeper. Apparently, she had more experience doing that stuff than I did (zero experience). So I'm still wondering how she's managed to utterly fuck shit up in the two weeks she'd been there. I'm only learning and I can already spot all her mistakes. When I first got the job, I felt bad for her because I was her replacement. I was putting her out of a job. But now that I see how incompetent she is, she's lucky I'm not personally calling her up to yell at her.
In other news, Owen got me the C.O.P.S. box set. I hope I'm not the only one that remembers that cartoon. It used to be my favorite cartoon as a kid. I've been nerding out on it since I got it.
I finally get a day off this Sunday. I'm excited.
I've been thinking of getting a new LJ. Any suggestions for names?
