"4. Some friends and I made up and spoke a brand new language."

I knew it! You're the one to blame for "Klingon"! :D

Hi, my name is "bodpod" - aka Diana. I'm a friend of Emily's. I have one of those ever-popular hubbies, too, though mine is Dave-flavored. I am "friending" you, and if you are a tolerant person, it would be swell if you "friended" me back. Why must you be tolerant? You'll find out!
Muwahahahaha!

lol... I'm not that much of a Trekkie.

Hi Diana, just out of curiosity... is there a story behind "bodpod"?

Very, very late response...

"Bodpod" comes from a series of sci-fi books by Lois McMaster Bujold. It's a one-person space-lifeboat that any idiot can operate. Get in and pull the cord - it inflates, a dim light goes on, and it begins to transmit a distress call. Then one randomly tumbles about in space until one is either rescued or one's air runs out.
It just seemed appropriate at the time. *g*

I'm very sorry I didn't answer you sooner, and sorry that "journaling" doesn't seem to be your thing. I hope you and Emily are planning that vacation you needed. *s*
