Well, I finally got around to watching my sister's copy of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, now I suppose I will try Akira. I have set my vcr to tape a few anime shows including Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop while I am gone. I'm leaving at 10am tomorrow morning, I will be back on Tuesday evening

It was pretty good. I will have to watch cowboy bebop first to give you some kind of comparison though. The particular episode I saw was basically a love story, so I am not sure exactly what type of anime you like. Try it, it can't hurt... but I would not recommend Akira, that was a very very strange movie.

lol well i will probably have to rewatch it then because i saw it very very late and didn't actually sit down and watch it since i was packing and in and out of the room at the same time so i missed a lot of it. perfect blue, if i find it i will try it to see just how weird it is. but my movie store has a terrible anime selection, only akira, and one or two other shows.
