Apple’s ipod warranty lasts for exactly one year from the purchase date. My nano worked perfectly for exactly one year and six days from the purchase date. Now one year and seven days after the purchase date it decides to not work so perfectly. But hey, just in time for the recent launch of the brand new video nano, right?

yeah, tell me about it. mine crapped out just over a year later and i took it to the apple store where the moron didn't even ask me what my name was. he didn't check to see if it was still under warranty; instead he just gave me a new ipod (so hey, that's worth a shot). new ipod lasted maybe six months. now it's just another paperweight. and i have a massive hatred for apple. i bought a sansa mp3 player for a fraction of apple's prices and it works perfectly! :) good luck!

wow if it goes bad again i'm heading to the apple store! turns out it was just frozen and i had to hold down a couple buttons to restart it.
