ps, memory lane currently resides in vancouver for me. good and bad. i think i can identify with what you posted, even if i dont know details.
and i miss you and hope you figure things out. heres her post:

don't feel bad about it. we all do it. i think its a product of trying to apply logic to emotional issues. logic and emotions exist on very different levels, i think. logically i can see the sense in the idea that we exist seperately from our pasts, and that the past only exists in physical scars and in stories. but emotionally we are definitely changes as a result of everything that happens to us.
perhaps fort garry dark leads you to tap into the logical part of your brain as a way to deal/cope with the emotional.
i'm off to catch a bus now. i've been on the web for over an hour and this comment is the only meaningful thing that i've done. curse my internet addiction!
