I'm glad you enjoyed this. That was the point, really, I hardly read much of Kurohitsuji and I didn't want to make this about a series, but about Cobb and Arthur, since this is, ultimately, their story (:

This is absolutely beautiful. I don't know the crossover, but the way you built Arthur was amazing, and the wary way Cobb kept an eye on him until, through Mal, he started trusting him? That was wonderful. Mal was beautiful and brilliant, and I understood why Arthur would tell Ariadne that she was lovely. I love how Mal brought Arthur and Cobb together as friends, and then Arthur's devotion to Cobb and his family continued even after.

I'm glad you enjoyed this (: Working Mal out was hard, so I'm glad to see she came across correctly. As I might have mentioned, I really didn't want this to be anything more than a conceptual crossover - at heart, it's really about Cobb, Arthur, and their relationship over the years.

I THINK I LOVE YOU. Maybe not even think, maybe I already know. But anyway, creepiness aside, this is absolutely gorgeous and I'm not one for dark themes (makes me wonder why I got into Kuroshitsuji at all xD), but you blended both of these fandoms so well and I couldn't not read. I'm so glad I did though. ♥

My favorite part of this was what happened at the hotel between Arthur and Cobb after Mal jumped though. It's my personal canon now *____* But I'm just ranting; short story shorter, you're kind of amazing. ♥

Well, I think the whole point was to make the concepts of Kurohitsuji incidental to the fic. The moment things like the concept of Arthur-as-a-demon dominate the Cobb-Arthur dynamic the fic is focused on, things would start to go apart (:
