I always felt Padme had gotten just a tad weak in Revenge of the Sith, and it really was sad, I guess. The way she was portrayed, given I've always seen her as a very active character.

(I swear this 'verse is making good writing exercise :D)

This is extremely well written. You got Padmé's voice spot on, as well as her inner duality (Padmé vs Amidala). And the "story" within the story, which tells Padmé's life story as a fairytale, is very interesting and creative.
