RIP Harold Ramis

I grew up with Ghostbusters as a kid. I guess for a lot of reasons, Egon Spengler was my favourite character--the one who made the film for me. (I used to love him even in the cartoons, but as I grew up, I realised I really enjoyed his portrayal far more in the movie.) Ah, I am sad. I liked him and from the first, GB was one of the very few movies I actually bought. Still have it, and Egon made the whole film quirkier. Then the animated show was good too, in its own way, but yeah, Harold did it first.

Agreed--the animated is definitely good in its own way, I just liked some of the movie quirkiness better! Definitely sad :(

Absolutely. And for all the comedy--I didn't see much of it, but I'm told his contributions were enormous.
