B has brought it to my attention that I have slacked on the live journal. So here I am. Yesterday and today were days of Christmas cheer. Yeah, I know. Usually Christmas is a "Bah Humbug" sort of event for me. I hate all the wanting and the cheapening of an event that should be sacred. But for some people, its the little things that mattered

Nicole, you hit the nail square on the head when you say that it's the smaller things that matter in life. I just wish more people would realize this one simple concept. Someday, when we are old and grey, we are not going to look back and think of the possessions we had. No sir. We are going to think about the good times we got to spend with our families, think of those moon lit walks we took on those warm summer nights and the times we spent looking up at the stars pondering what life was all about. That's where life is at! Thanks for writing in your Journal after your hiatus!
