I love Viva La Vida, so thinking of that song in the perspective of another musician is weird. I don't really think they'd steal it, though. They've come too far to just rip someone off.

Coldplay has been accused of plagiarism by this one guy, Joe Santriani, and he has no claim to that since Viva La Vida sounds like a lot of other songs anyway. A lot of songs sound like each other, and the point is it's dumb that someone's making a big deal out of it.
