i weep for the future...
if you voted for bush, even though new jersey went kerry, just stay away from me for awhile... i'm insulted that you would take away my right to decide what is best for my body.

I don't know how to begin to handle this. My cell phone is back but I don't even care.

I never post in these stupid things, but I can't read this and not reply to it. There was a majority vote for Bush so whether or not you like it he won. Our country, our democracy voted for him. You are completely naive if you believe that this is wrong, it is the foundation of our nation. I'm not going to tell you who I voted for and in all honesty I had no idea who I was going to vote for when I woke up yesterday morning, but I would like to think that you would not think less of me if I voted for Bush. This entry, and many other people's entries last night is scaring me into thinking the opposite. Maybe it is because I live in a democratic area, but I have noticed the Bush voters being way more open-minded than the Kerry voters. As in they would not hate me if I voted the other way. This whole thing is absurd. Comments like yours that I have been reading and hearing have left me learning a lot about people I thought I knew. I suppose this is all I have to say. Don't take this the wrong way...this is just from months of ( ... )

1) Whether I like it or not he won... uncontested, he won. Nobody said he didn't win. Nobody said the system was wrong or that he didn't, this time at least, win the vote and earn his presidency. That's not what I said at all.
2)Bush voters are more open-minded than Kerry voters because Bush voters don't understand the terror and helplessness that those of us who fear Bush are feeling right now. We are resentful and fearful because we feel that our rights are being taken away, which only time will show.
3)My opinion of Bush voters, at least for the time being, is a negative one, and I'm entitled to express that in my own journal which I created to express my own thoughts. If you don't like what I write here I suggest that you don't come back instead of being so critical. Or you can IM me if you want to talk more about it, StormPoem. Either way, I hope you feel better about things.

its funny to think she is naive for having the oponion she does... you said our democracy voted and she is apart of this and therefore can be upset about the outcome, that is what this coutnry is all about, being able to have your vocie heard ( ... )

I really didn't mean to start anything on this. And I did not attack her personally at all, as you have just done to me. I at least know her, and I have no clue who you are at all, so even if I were attacking nicole I at least have some justification for it. I never said she couldn't be upset about the outcome, that is the point of democracy, to have an opinion and be passionate about it. If I gave that impression then I am sorry. You also said I attacked her and this was not my intention at all. I have been getting so much shit leading up to the election because I wasn't sure who I was voting for and its from people like you. It is not your right to harrass people or make people feel bad about themselves because of their opinions or views. In fact, as I read your post you have totally misinterpreted what I wrote. I did not judge her on how she voted, I judged people in general who are being cruel and close-minded to others views. I never once said damn you for voting for kerry, I said why are you so harsh to people who ( ... )

One more reply. I just found out you are Andy Roth. You were on my holbrook team, the cardinals. This is Jay Koonts, you probably don't remember me, but I just thought that was funny. I didn't recognize you from the picture. E-mail me if you want, its in the last reply. No hard feelings with any of this, we all have our opinions. I hope all is well.

Let's Think For A Second anonymous November 3 2004, 13:18:24 UTC
I'm being blunt and I don't care:

It really angers me that people who hate President Bush don't realize that they are the minority and they are just pissing everyone else off when they are being loud-mouthed and pushy. OBVIOUSLY, you're outnumbered and OBVIOUSLY the majority is being patient with you. You may find support within your small circle of friends who share the same points of view, and you have every right in the world to say and write what you want- so have fun with it, but don't assume that most people agree with you. Also, I'm insulted that you believe killing unborn babies is your right. If you're really afraid that you will be doing your body harm by NOT having an abortion- just stick with the vibrator.

Kerry supporters: Know Your Role.

Who are you? Know YOUR role and stay the fuck out of my journal. Nobody asked you for a very good reason: WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK. So go away.

55 million to 59 million people is still a pretty close fight to call. I mean, a fight of 55 to 59 people is close enough to call... but MILLIONS here. The minority or majority is statistically irrelevant ( ... )
