We now have a new doggie. Her official name, at the vet's office, is Angel but we call her Angie. She is a one year old Welsh Corgie/Chi. mix which makes her adorable looking. Wondered how things were down there in TX. Have you guys gotten much rain since the drought? Or are you still having a drought? Couldn't believe that hurricane Lee, which dumped yet more rain our way, just made things worse out there. I'd love to send you some of the rain we've had because everything here is soggy & we're due for snow tomorrow & Fri. Oh, yay.

We've had some rain in recent weeks but not enough to help this year's crops though. The upper Panhandle of Texas actually had 2 to 4 inches of snow this past Thursday. I have a feeling we're in for another cold, snowy winter. I just hope we have a white Christmas. It seems like it always snows when I have to go into work and not when I can stay home to enjoy it.

Every time we got hit with another run of rain I would just look to the heavens & ask God why he couldn't send it your way instead?! We (& most of the east coast) don't need any more at this time. The ground is saturated, esp. after Irene & Lee. You guys could use it! It seems so unfair. Add that to the number of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, & tsunamis we've had this year, & there are some seriously messed up things happening globally.
Were you in danger during the wild fires? I saw a video that someone was filming while the fires moved through his neighborhood. It was heartbreaking & bizarre as the fires hit one house & not the other. shudder...
I'm really not looking forward to snow... not at all. We usually get a lot of it. Truly I'd prefer that somewhat tropical Dec. that we had one yr! LOL.
